Delete your MindLight account

You can permanently delete your MindLight account and the personal data associated with it at any time. There are two ways to do it.
Option 1 — In the app
- Open the MindLight app and sign in.
- Go to Settings → Account.
- Tap Delete account and confirm.
Option 2 — By email (no app required)
Send a deletion request from the email address registered to your account, so we can verify it belongs to you.
Request deletion by emailOr write to hello@mindlight-app.com with the subject “Account deletion request”.
We confirm every request and complete the deletion within 30 days of verifying your identity.
What is deleted
- Account data — email address, user ID, password
- Mood tracking data and history
- Diary and journal entries
- AI chat history
- Tasks, habits, goals and life sphere diagnostics
- Numerology data, if you opted in (name, date of birth, gender)
- Generated content — AI responses and reports
What is retained, and why
A limited amount of data is kept after deletion because the law requires it. It is no longer used to provide the service.

Subscriptions are billed by Apple and Google, not by us. Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription — cancel it in your App Store or Google Play account settings first, otherwise billing continues.
